I'm almost 35 and still single. I am successful and attractive and don't understand why I can't find my life partner.
I know what I'm looking for and feel as though I know myself well, too.
The problem I'm having is understanding how to convey what I'm looking for (a life patner) to the potential someone. There seems to be MANY men out there that say they're looking for the same and then as you continue dating and getting to know each other, are not showing signs that they are indeed ready for that sort of commitment.
I try to be up-front early on with my pursuit of a life-partner but am finding that ... once the intentions are "out there" these boys feel sufficated or something...its as though they cave on their original stated intention.
Obviously these are not the right men. I'm beginning to believe these men don't exist.
What am I doing wrong?

I can't tell you what you are doing wrong until I know a lot more about you. I would especially need to know your vision of the relationship and life you desire, as this vision is what informs your current behavior. Many singles think that they know what they want in a partner, but it's their vision of the life you want together with someone that will tell what you should be doing in order to achieve it.

I think you should work over perception, some might think you are to good for them an prefer to try their chances whit someone else...
