Why can't I be more successful with online dating?

Do singles have questions about dating and relationships? They sure do! If you have a question about a relationship quandary, just go to the Hi Janice, I use a couple of online dating sites to find a relationship. I've written what I consider to be a creative, unique profile that tries to show me as someone with intelligence, wit and some depth and imagination. But I get ignored or rejected by probably 99% of women who I contact or who see my profile. Even by those who are themselves intelligent and educated. Would it be possible to ask for you to look at the profile for your impression of it? Steve

Of course I will look at your profiles Steve, but I prefer to do so in the context of knowing more about you and your vision of your ideal relationship. Singles frequently end up writing essays for their profiles that don't necessarily match who they are and what they want. One reason for this is, like you perhaps, you're trying too hard. Consequently, your profile either doesn't feel real or it's filled with a bunch of overused adjectives.

I have coached many singles who told me "I tried dating online and it didn't work for me." My response is usually, "But you didn't do it with a coach!" Once I teach a client how to create an effective profile and show them how to sort and screen through the various members contacting them, they usually see how they unknowingly made mistakes that cause the failure.

Oh, and an important piece of information that is often ignored --

singles who sign up on an online dating website as a "free member" aren't allowed to correspond with those members who contact them. Current statistics say that almost 50% of online daters have not paid their memberships. That means you have to adjust your expectations of being contacted by someone you write to by half.

Nonetheless, the online dating world is a big ocean full of singles, like you, looking for relationships. While I admit that some websites do have their problems, it's still an immensely successful business. Why? Because singles continue to meet and match! It just takes some savvy, know-how and persistence.

Dating tip for guys

"This is a tip to guys that faces difficulties talking to or approaching girls.

I recently discovered a great book called ""Double Your Dating"" by David DeAngelo. In my opinion, it's the best place for a guy to start who wants to become more successful with women and dating. Being a shy guy who never talked to girls, I really learned a lot.

David DeAngelo himself was a regular guy who for the longest time, like so many others, couldn't figure out why he didn't have the success with women he wanted.

David sought out the few guys he knew who were unbelievably successful with women. He asked around and found more and more of these naturals, and sat down and picked their brains for every last piece of information he could dig up.

He was surprised to find that many of these guys weren't rich or handsome. David has finally unraveled the ""bad boy"" mystery and explains exactly why some guys ""get all the chicks"". More importantly, he explains how to develop the traits in yourself that drive women wild, and why you don't have to be a bad boy or a jerk to be successful with women.

What I found particularly useful was

a) the strategies and techniques for starting conversations with women

b)how to take things to a ""physical"" level smoothly and easily
