Year 2004 is winding down and 2005 is on the horizon, and I've got an important question for you to answer -- how will you make 2005 your best year ever? If you're a relationship-oriented single, the question is even more specific -- how will 2005 become the year when you finally attain the relationship and life you really want? If it was simply just a matter of stating your goal, then wouldn't you already have done it? How many times have you made "New Year's Resolutions" only to get stuck some time in January, or lose steam in March? But you set the goal! But you made the resolution! Why isn't that enough to make people succeed in attaining their goals? I have to warn you that the answer sounds simpler on paper than it does in practice. It's not enough just to set a goal. Goals are great, but the power is in the DECISION. The decision comes first. Once you've made a committed decision you can then set goals along the way to support it. You get what you DECIDE. I have met singles who found their life partners because they began in this way -- they decided that they were going to succeed. They made a commitment to exert the discipline and whatever
was necessary to accomplish it. And they started taking action right away. Attaining the kind of relationship you want in 2005 is not an
impossible goal. . .
